Bookeeper
ReminderMedia, a growing King of Prussia based company is currently hiring. Our Accounting team is looking for an Entry Level Staff Member. Qualified applicants will have a natural strong attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow in all areas of accounting. This position will work directly with our Controller. Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial recordkeeping for the organization, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for day to day accounting and accounts payable.
Perform bi-weekly payroll through ADP and all related functions along with recordkeeping for all PTO.
Prepares monthly journal entries
Prepare month end supporting documentation
Assist in the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
Assist the Controller in producing accurate and timely financial statements
Ensuring that internal 'controls' and policies in financial reporting mechanisms prevent inaccuracies in accounting statements
Recommends and implements policies and procedures relating to financial controls and business unit practices
Responsible for daily purchases for the company.
Assist in special projects as necessary
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
1 year general office experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent knowledge in mathematics, financial matters and accounting
Excellence in analysis and observation skills
Highly dedicated and devoted to work
