President, Electric Transmission/Power Division

The President of the Electric Transmission/Power Division will oversee and lead new division. This position will direct/manage customer obligations, systems reliability, safe operations and system efficiency. The President is responsible for business planning (strategic, operational, and tactical), as well as ensuring proper coordination among division assets across other QualTek entities. This position assists in developing related annual operating and capital expense budgets. Must have experience dealing with a sub-contractor model.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works in collaboration with CEO in securing new business
Engage existing contacts for work opportunities
Act as Technical expert within Design phase of High Voltage Transmission Projects
Manage department and sub-consultants
Develop revenue estimates and budgets

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in electrical engineering; or, minimum of 10 years of related experience in the design of transmission, relay, and substations
Registered Professional Electrical Engineer
Knowledge of the NESC (National Electric Safety Code) and the NEC (National Electrical Code)
Knowledge of Power Delivery IEEE standards, state and local ordinances and laws
Knowledge of engineering design principles applicable to electric utility operations such as, generation, transmission, distribution and other related fields
Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, practices, procedures, materials and equipment used in the design, construction and operation of the electric utility systems
Working knowledge of design and construction techniques and practices is a must
Able to travel to meet with Customers and manage projects

EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
