JOB DUTIES: Validate use cases for using SI and specifically capabilities of SI. Help performance tune business processes within SI. Define best practices for writing code in SI. Develop framework for implementing Sterling Business Integration Suite B2B jobs incorporation best practices in a standardized format. Develop Sterling Business Integration Suite jobs using framework for various data loading and extracting projects. Develop JAVA extensions to Sterling Integrator. Train members in use of Sterling Business Integration Suite and best practices. Utilize knowledge and experience in Sterling Collaboration Network, Sterling Integrator (developing business process workflows including modifying core BPs, using graphical interface, using BPML code in a text editor, tuning workflows and maps, XML handling and conversion, XSLT translations, JAVA based extensions, designing and developing in Sterling Commerces BIS Solutions Suite or Gentran integration suite, installing and tuning SI products), Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Community Manager, and Sterling Perimeter Server. Work in a team environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include the following: administrator level knowledge of SI; developing Business Process Workflows including modifying core BPs; using Graphical Interface; using BPML code in a text editor; tuning workflows and maps; XML handling and conversion; XSLT translations; experience in developing Java based extensions on Sterling Integrator; best practices for Sterling Business Integration Suite job development; training resources in use of Sterling Business Integration Suite; experience installing and tuning Sterling Integrator products. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
