Position Description:
Responsible for managing the new product development process
Requirements:
BS Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering experience with a mechanical engineering apptitude
Product Management experience with strong cross-functional skills in mechanical, electronic, and small mechanism design, logistics management, and manufacturing economics
Knowledge of properties and applications of materials, familiarity with machining, injection molding, stamping, and related processes
Proficiency in electronic design with emphasis on microprocessor design and programming, DC switching circuits and charging of various battery chemistries
Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 ATEX and other quality and regulatory standards
Previous experience with management of multiple projects
Responsibilities and Duties:
In charge of product design and development
Prioritize work to meet project engineering deadlines
Provide guidance and technical expertise within department
Review project spreadsheets and project ISO records
Overall management of the new product development process
Salary: $80,000-$100,000
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
