Job Duties: Elicit, document and evaluate business requirements which involve multiple organizations and technical topics. Build use cases and models that clearly depict process flows relating to specific business requirements. Use a combination of graphical information and text in natural language to convey business, system and functional requirements to both business and technical staff. Conduct interviews with all project stakeholders including business partners to elicit functional requirements. Model requirements in an organized manner, then manage and communicate those requirements throughout the project life cycle. Address change management issues and assist in test planning. Develop creative solutions to meet business needs while respecting and complying with company and IT standards and guidelines. Interface with subject matter experts in marketing, finance, merchandising, fulfillment, business development, customer service and technology departments and decompose high level ideas into detailed components. Work in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as a business systems analyst or computer systems analyst or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a business systems analyst or computer systems analyst.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include the following: requirements modeling and document requirements using use cases and practical UML; SDLC and software development methodologies; business information systems and processes; business modeling; requirements management; analysis and design; Applies correct decision analysis for solving problems; Understanding of enterprise architecture and organization processes; Elicit and analyze client requirements beyond the IT domain, vendor domain or the business unit domain; Full Software development life cycle support from analyze phase through User Acceptance Testing. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
