Job Duties: Design and develop new modules or modify and refactor existing components. Participate in requirements analysis and development planning activities. Assist in resolving testing and production issues. Produce detailed and accurate documentation relating to assigned tasks. Work closely with all levels of product development staff and third-party developments teams. Code using Web-presentation technologies. Develop Spring/Spring MVC and Unix platform. This position has no direct reports and does not supervise/manage other staff.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or program analysis or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or program analysis.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include object-oriented development; data structures; algorithms; software design and architecture; Core Java; JSP; Servlets; J2EE; HTML; CSS; JSON; Javascript; development experience on web services; Spring or Spring MVC; XML; XSD; AXI; CXF; WS Standards; Unix platform; web based architecture and ecommerce technologies; software development lifecycle best-practices, methods, and conventions; Test Driven Development; Source Code Management; Continuous Integration; Domain Driven Design; Dependency Management; Ability to develop design, test and deployment documentation.
