Job Duties: Identification of major system interfaces and development of module reuse on an enterprise-wide scale. Communicate technical standards, principles, methodology, and trends. Define the product and consumer experience, develop business acumen, and bring technical perspective to further product and business. Assist in creating, maintaining, and reviewing Technical Design Documents for the development organization based on product requirements. Own the quality of the product. Design and implement web services. Collaborate effectively with other development teams and architects to solve complex problems spanning respective areas; resolve technological disagreement with informed and rational debate. Utilize knowledge and experience of object oriented design, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, Java, J2EE, XML, Spring, and Mule. Work in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include the following: object oriented design; data structures and algorithms; design patterns; Java and J2EE; Spring; XML; designing and developing RESTful Web Services; Eclipse IDE; and; Mule. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
