JOB DUTIES: Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the AP team at eBay. Assist the Accounts Payable department by continuously improving processes, building a strong team, maintaining accounting controls, and automation of procedures. Report to the AP Manager and partner with internal team members as well as provide support for processing staff located offshore at Genpact in India. Oversee the entry and verification of invoices and travel and expense reimbursements, and issuance of payments for all GSI legal entities. Provide high level review and audit of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, payments and general ledger reports to ensure proper coding and compliance with company policy. Process weekly payment runs for GSI entities and ensure compliance with policies (FAP, SOX, etc.). Administer Purchasing Card and Corporate Card programs including managing vendors payments made via Pcard. Oversee the management of expense reporting (via Concur/GET) to ensure compliance with new and existing policies. Identify and monitor key metrics and communicate results and recommendations to the management team regarding those areas where savings or issues exist with employee reimbursement. Assist in managing month end AP close process including the creation of adjusting journal entries, analysis of AP Account Fluctuations and compilation of monthly management reports. Manage and oversee year-end closing activities including 1099 processing and reporting for all companies. Review schedules for internal and external auditors and provide financial reporting and support to other areas of the business. Manage vendor relationships with regular communication through current and future change management activities. Monitor monthly payment schedule to ensure that all supplier discounts offered are taken and not lost. Identify and analyze key AP and travel metrics. Monitor key metrics and drive root cause analysis to identify process efficiencies and automation that will help to facilitate operational excellence while ensuring efficient Sox controls with compliance to ensure no material exceptions. Monitor and benchmark department to industry standards and Genpact performance against historical/baseline data and information. Develop relationships with key business team members to identify when users need additional training in order to meet their responsibilities in the P2P process and comply with company policies. Work with Business Unit personnel to develop efficient business processes, provide a consistent, high level of service to internal and external customers while maintaining compliance with company policies and controls. Assist and participate in integration of acquired companies where applicable and ensure smooth transition is achieved via managing and driving to closure detailed project timelines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree, or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of accounting/contract administration OR Bachelors degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of accounting/contract administration.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include the following: Peoplesoft; JDA; MS Excel; pivot tables. Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
