GSI Commerce Solutions, Inc.,d/b/a eBay Enterprise, Inc. an eBay company seeks Systems Administrator 3 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
Job Duties: Development and maintenance of tools and procedures created to support the source code management requirements of the GSI internally developed Java-based applications. Support, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Software Engineer-utilized servers, code compilation processes, software release mechanics, and source code management for GSI's internally developed Java-based applications. Manage applications undergoing regular parallel development. Assist software engineers in branch management, software deployment and enforcement of GSI software release standards and practices. System administration and navigating and querying databases required. Some level of off-hours, on-call support is expected.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience as a software engineer or deployment and support engineer.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include the following: 1-2 years experience with Unix scripting with perl, bash, python or php; Parallel development methodologies using CVS or SVN; 1-2 years experience authoring build scripts using ANT or Maven; Experience in Linux system administration; Management and automatic generation of desktop VMs for developer sandbox support; Intershop Enfinity or Sterling OMS. 1-2 years experience doing configuration management with Apache Zookeeper; 1-2 years experience supporting applications running in Tomcat, Weblogic, or JBoss with Apache HTTPD front-end. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
