They is the leading outsource solution for e-commerce. The Webstore and Mobile department develops their web-based e-commerce products and applications, including the core Web Store, the supporting Management Tools, and Development Tools.

They are seeking bright, motivated Software Engineer to work as a member of their next generation e-commerce platform to drive and develop innovative Development Tools for both internal and external development.

As a member of a cross-functional development team, Software Engineer Developer works closely with Product, Operations, Database, Architecture, QA, Project Management, and Product Management teams to design and develop the Development Tools for internal and external software teams to implement both frontend and backend product and/or
services
features in a streamlined fashion and to further increase the productivity.

Software Engineer Developer participates in all phases of product development including: planning, analysis, design, development, QA and ongoing support.

Design and implement new Development Tools to increase personal productivity and team collaboration experience in a distributed and/or SaaS environment.
Interactively architect and design Development Tools covering design, development, deployment, and debugging areas to meet the needs from internal and external product, services, and other software teams.
Identify, evaluate, and formally recommend third party solutions and services as needed to strengthen the easy-of-use and productivity of Development Tools.
Participate and contribute requirements analysis and development planning activities.
Produce detailed and accurate documentation related to Development Tools and assigned tasks.
Promote highly collaborative, team-oriented environment, working closely with all levels of product, services, and third-party development teams.
BS, MS, or PhD in
computer
Science or a related technical field (or equivalent), with strong competencies in object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms and software design and architecture.

years hands-on programming experience with J2SE and J2EE technologies.
Hands-on development experience of Eclipse RCP and/or Plug-in.
Working knowledge of common web backend technologies and/or frameworks such as Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Struts, Apache Wicket, and/or JBoss Seam.
Good knowledge of common web frontend technologies and/or packages such as HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript/Ajax, Flash/Flex, and/or jQuery/Dojo.
Experience in cross-platform development such as UNIX/Windows and Oracle/MySQL and skillful in UNIX shell scripts and command line tools such as sed, awk, etc.
In depth knowledge of Continuous Integration solutions (e.g. Atlassian Bamboo, Hudson, and/or CruiseControl) and best practice (e.g. repository management, tagging, and branching) of revision control systems (e.g. Subversion, Git, and/or Mercurial).
In depth knowledge of J2EE application packaging and deployment against Open Source (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, and/or Jetty) or commercial (e.g. Websphere and/or Weblogic) J2EE servers.
Well-presentable portfolios in the design and development of Development Tools.
Solid grasp of software development lifecycle best-practices, methods, and conventions, including but not limited to Agile methodology, Test Driven Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management.
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred:
Experience in e-commerce application development.
Experience with commercial supply chain, trading partner, warehouse, logistics management, marketing, and/or customer relationship management software.
Experience in working with or developing Open Source projects.
Experience with Oracle 11g and/or MySQL.
Experience with Intershop Enfinity server- and/or client-side development.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
