Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Bag customer orders and ensure accuracy - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Assist customers with any inquiries or help they may need - Promote sales and upsell products or services - Follow all food safety and handling procedures when handling food items - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Strong cash handling skills and ability to perform basic math calculations - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of food safety regulations and willingness to adhere to them - Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system is a plus Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and occasional lifting of heavy items.
