7 King of Prussia, PA King of Prussia, PA Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $80,000 a year $50,000 - $80,000 a year OVERALL FUNCTION This role specializes in managing the business operations of the Wealth Management Advisor's firm to enhance productivity and profitability.
The Director of Operations should anticipate the needs of the firm, plans for its development with other advisors and team members and recommends necessary changes to ensure the maintenance of an efficient, organized office that allows the advisor to focus their energy on building client relationships and generating new business.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
OFFICE SUPPORT Oversee operational procedures for all aspects of the advisor's business including coordinating communication and workflow Maintain office and employee standards Facilitate the training of team members, directly or indirectly, in all aspects of their responsibilities Maintain adequate coverage through cross-training Coordinate all communications between team and advisors Coordinate and prepare for weekly team meetings Document client case notes in CRM system and maintain compliant client files Manage financial advisor's calendar and schedule meetings with existing and prospective clients Become the gatekeeper to the advisor by fielding the majority of incoming calls and emails and direct them as appropriate Contact clients to confirm receipt of forms or request return of completed forms Client Service Support Prepare and review insurance applications, conversions and policy changes Arrange medical, paramedical and any exams necessary to fulfill insurance underwriting requirements Prepare insurance policies for client signature and delivery Provide current status and account values for existing policies and accounts Contact clients regarding billing issues Process incoming insurance service requests from clients (i.
e.
address changes, bank change information, loan requests and billing service inquiries) Prepare account summaries for client review meeting Receive and forward checks and related paperwork to the network office and home office operation areas Initiate fund transfers, exchanges and redemption requests Gather information for client meetings with clients/prospects Enter client data into planning software Qualifications Experience working in a small business environment preferred Life, Accident & Health Insurance licensed (or gain licensing within 6 months of employment) Financial Service or Insurance industry experience preferred Demonstrated leadership to motivate and hold others accountable Customer service experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to multi task and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy High degree of initiative Ability to be diplomatic Ability to be flexible and open-minded Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality Team oriented Job Type:
