More specifically, this position will:
Brainstorm educational, entertaining, and endearing topic ideas for digital products, including magazines, blog posts, and social media posts Write 2 digital magazine articles per issue (approx.
8 per month) Write 16 blog posts per month (approx.
4 per week/1 per day) Additional weekly/monthly projects based on need:
Fact-check and update an existing database of digital content Writing monthly letters and emails for digital magazines Brainstorming ideas and write copy and captions for branded social media posts Write weekly and biweekly newsletter and email copy Gather analytics for weekly and biweekly newsletter and email copy Skills Needed:
Strong writing and editing skills Basic knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style Ability to adhere to existing style and brand guidelines Deadline-oriented with the ability to work quickly and accurately Solid understanding of what constitutes a good source and how to cite it Experience Needed:
1-2 years of content writing/digital writing experience Knowledge of the real estate, financial, and/or insurance markets a plus Knowledge of WordPress a plus Education Needed:
Bachelor of Arts in English, Journalism, or a related field Job Type:
