The chosen Teacher will cultivate a safe and loving environment that is conducive to growth and learning.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide basic care for children including feeding, grooming, and changing diapers.
Sanitize all toys and play areas.
Maintain a pleasant, safe and sanitary environment.
Introduce and developing age-appropriate socialization skills in children.
Encourage positive behavior and good manners.
Use various learning methods such as stories, games, and drawing to intellectually stimulate children.
Identify behavioral problems and developing appropriate strategies to address them.
Maintain progress reports of all children under your care.
Attend staff meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Hold regular parent-teacher meetings to address any issues, concerns, or parent complaints.
Communicate with parents and provide updates on children's progress.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Child care professional (CCP) certification is advantageous.
Proven experience working as a childcare teacher.
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred (we can provide training).
Clear criminal background check - (we can assist with getting all your clearances).
In-depth understanding of childhood development.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Attentive and patient.
