Responsibilities:
Serve as scientific lead and expertise, for Congenital Bleeding Disorders (including Hemophilia A, Hemophilia B, Gene Therapy and von Willebrand Disease) within the Hematology Therapeutic Area (TA), providing editorial, scientific and strategic expertise. Responsible for supporting the development of Publication Strategy and leading the execution of the Publications for Congenital Bleeding Disorders In collaboration with Director of Medical Education & Communications (Hematology), support development and implementation of global Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement strategy; Identify and address educational gaps of key stakeholders. Support Market Access projects and provide medical input into access strategy, education of stakeholders, and develop & execute an integrated evidence generation plan Support development of core educational materials and programs and management of medical education agency. Liaise with Regional representatives and global medical affairs to ensure global implementation of medical activities for Congenital Bleeding Disorders. Support development of the Target Product Profile (TPP) and Target Product Claims (TPC) process to guide the relevant Clinical Development program ensuring input from regions and countries as required. Develop strong relationships with key internal groups (including R&D, Commercial Operations Regions, Stats, Legal, Finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (ie. KOLs, agency partners, etc.) Education:
PharmD/PhD or MD
Experience:
PharmD/PhD with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience and/or M.D. with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience and/or M.D. with at least 10 years of academic experience relevant to the Hematology TA. Proven medical and scientific expertise in Hematology required. Experience and expertise in Gene Therapy is a plus
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
